Trio Zimbalist presents 2 of the greatest piano trios, Anton Arensky’s Piano Trio #1 in D minor Op.32, and Beethoven’s Piano Trio in B-flat major Op. 97 “Archduke”. The premier of the “Archduke ” piano trio April 11, 1814, was Beethoven’s last concert performance as pianist in public. It was the last of Beethoven’s piano trios and it remains one of his best known chamber works.
